Prezidentka oceňuje postoj miestnej samosprávy a jej kľúčovú úlohu pri očkovaní
Banská Bystrica 26. marca (TASR) – „Chválim prístup miestnej samosprávy, ktorá podľa môjho názoru hrá pri očkovaní proti COVID-19 absolútne kľúčovú úlohu,“ uviedla v tento deň prezidentka Zuzana Čaputová po svojej návšteve regionálneho očkovacieho centra v Banskej Bystrici a FD oblasti Rooseveltovej fakultnej nemocnice.
V boji proti pandémii prezidentka ocenila zásluhy miestnej správy na miestnej aj regionálnej úrovni. Podľa nej hrali kľúčovú úlohu pri celoštátnom testovaní, v súčasnosti ho hrajú pri očkovaní. „Samosprávne kraje sa k tejto úlohe postavili veľmi aktívne a na svojich územiach zriadili rozsiahle očkovacie centrá,“ dodala Čaputová.
Počas svojej návštevy v Banskej Bystrici sa prezidentka zúčastnila stretnutia so Združením samosprávnych krajov (SK-8) a so zástupcami ministerstva zdravotníctva.
Minister financií Eduard Heger (OLaNO), ktorý je dočasne poverený vedením ministerstva zdravotníctva, označil rozsiahle očkovacie centrá za príklad dobrej spolupráce medzi štátom a miestnou samosprávou. „Každým očkovaním občana Slovenskej republiky zaútočíme na pandémiu veľmi silným úderom a výrazne sa priblížime k víťazstvu nad pandémiou,“ poznamenal Heger a dodal, že do leta by malo mať Slovensko 5 miliónov dávok objednaných a registrovaných vakcín.
President Praises Attitude of Local Government and its Key Role in Vaccination
Banska Bystrica, March 26 (TASR) – “I praise the approach of local government, which, in my opinion is playing an absolutely key role in vaccination against COVID-19,” President Zuzana Caputova said on this date, following her visit to the regional vaccination center in Banska Bystrica and the area’s F.D. Roosevelt Faculty Hospital.
In the fight against the pandemic, the president praised the merits of local government both at the local and regional levels. According to her, they played a key role in countrywide testing, and they are currently playing it in vaccination. “The self-governing regions have taken a very active approach to this task and have set up large-scale vaccination centers in their territories,” added Caputova.
During her visit to Banska Bystrica, the president attended a meeting with the Self-governing Regions Association (SK-8) and with representatives of the Health Ministry.
Finance Minister Eduard Heger (OLaNO), who’s been entrusted with heading the Health Ministry on a temporary basis, described the large-scale vaccination centers as an example of good co-operation between the state and local government. “With each jab we vaccinate a citizen of the Slovak Republic, we strike a very strong blow to the pandemic and we get significantly closer to victory over the pandemic,” noted Heger, adding that by the summer Slovakia should have 5 million doses of ordered registered vaccines.
