Vláda schválila reformu zdravotníctva
Bratislava 29. septembra (TASR) – Vláda schválila reformu zdravotníctva. Nemocnice sa tak majú rozdeliť na viacero úrovní. Prvé reálne zmeny v praxi sa začnú realizovať v roku 2024. Podľa Ministerstva Zdravotníctva ide o najväčšiu reformu za posledných 17 rokov. Priniesť by mala menej zbytočných úmrtí, viac zachránených životov, kvalitnejšie podmienky na prácu zdravotníkom a ich zastabilizovanie.
Po novom by mali nemocnice fungovať na piatich úrovniach – komunitná, regionálna, komplexná, koncová a národná. Vzniknúť tak má zoptimalizovaná sieť nemocníc. Ministerstvo zdravotníctva (MZ) zdôraznilo, že bude ešte niekoľko mesiacov pedantne vysvetľovať v teréne podstatu reformy a jej prospech pre obyvateľov Slovenska.
Nemocnice, ktoré budú v zozname, majú mať nárok na úhradu z verejného zdravotného poistenia. Ministerstvo pripomína, že prinesie menej zbytočných úmrtí, viac zachránených životov či kvalitnejšie podmienky na prácu zdravotníkom, čo prinesie potrebné zastabilizovanie zdravotníckeho personálu.
MZ zdôrazňuje, že sa žiadna nemocnica rušiť nebude. Lôžka, ktoré pred pandémiou zostávali nevyužité, sa budú transformovať v horizonte niekoľkých rokov na základe veľmi presných analýz a dát na iný typ starostlivosti, ktorá dnes mnohým pacientom chýba, a preto sa ťažko vracajú do svojho normálneho života.
MZ sľubuje, že sa „nebude robiť všade všetko a v malom počte”. Lekári, sestry a ďalší zdravotnícki pracovníci budú podľa Ministerstva pracovať vďaka reforme s novými prístrojmi vo väčších tímoch, kde budú lepšie vedieť zvládať zdravotné komplikácie pacienta. Reforma by mala zvýšiť bezpečnosť a kvalitu zdravotnej starostlivosti.
The government Has Approved Health Care Reform
Bratislava, September 29 (TASR) – The government approved health care reform. Hospitals are to be divided into several levels. The first real changes in practice will begin in 2024. According to the Ministry of Health, this is the largest reform in the last 17 years. It should bring fewer unnecessary deaths, more lives saved, better working conditions for health professionals and their stabilization.
After the new one, hospitals should operate at five levels – community, regional, comprehensive, terminal and national. This should create an optimized network of hospitals. The Ministry of Health (MZ) emphasized that it would be meticulously explaining in the field for a few more months the essence of the reform and its benefits for the people of Slovakia.
The hospitals that will be on the list should be entitled to reimbursement from public health insurance. The Ministry reminds that it will bring fewer unnecessary deaths, more saved lives or better working conditions for health professionals, which will bring the necessary stabilization of medical staff.
The Ministry of Health emphasizes that no hospital will be closed down. Beds that remained unused before the pandemic will be transformed in a few years’ time, based on very precise analyses and data, to another type of care that many patients today lack and therefore find it difficult to return to their normal lives.
The Ministry of Health promises that “not everything will be done everywhere and in small numbers”. According to the ministry, doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals will work with the new devices in larger teams, thanks to the reform, where they will be better able to manage the patient’s health complications. The reform should increase the safety and quality of healthcare.
