Reforma národných parkov odložená do apríla budúceho roka

Bratislava 25. októbra (TASR) – K prevodu štátnych pozemkov v prvých dvoch národných parkoch za účelom dokončenia reorganizácie zón na ich území dôjde až 1. apríla 2022, informoval o tom v pondelok Minister životného prostredia Ján Budaj (OĽaNO) a Minister pôdohospodárstva SR Samuel Vlčan (nominant OĽaNO) pred podpisom memoranda o vzájomných vzťahoch.

Reforma národných parkov sa mala pôvodne začať v januári budúceho roka.

Do 1. apríla budúceho roka by mali štátne pozemky v Národnom parku Slovenský raj a Pieniny prejsť pod Štátnu ochranu prírody (SOP).  V ostatných národných parkoch by sa presuny mali týkať len území s najprísnejším štvrtým a piatym stupňom ochrany.  Medzitým sa začne reorganizácia zón v rámci zostávajúcich siedmich národných parkov.  „Verím, že reorganizácia zón bude ukončená do konca budúceho roka, kedy by mal byť tento proces ukončený a čo sa týka majetku štátu v národných parkoch, malo by to prejsť na SOP, resp. Ministerstvo životného prostredia  “ povedal Budaj.

Minister je presvedčený, že memorandum pomôže aj k schváleniu reformy národných parkov.  „Domnievam sa, že všetky výhrady, ktoré mal predseda parlamentu Boris Kollár (Sme rodina), sme prebrali a [odpovede na ne] sú zapracované aj v memorande,“ uviedol Budaj.
Obe ministerstvá sa v memorande dohodli aj na polkilometrovom pásme medzi bezzásahovými územiami a hospodárskymi lesmi.  “Som rád, že sme sa na tom zhodli.  Do 30. júna 2022 by nám malo ministerstvo životného prostredia predložiť návrh na reorganizáciu zón ostatných národných parkov.  Musíme dosiahnuť celospoločenskú dohodu o tom, akú výmeru územia chceme a môžeme si dovoliť pre národné parky.  Verím, že sa férovo dohodneme,“ povedal Vlčan.

O návrhu reformy, ako aj o novele zákona o národných parkoch by sa malo hlasovať na aktuálnej schôdzi parlamentu.

National Parks Reform Postponed until April of Next Year

Bratislava, October 25 (TASR) – The transfer of state land in the first two national parks to see a reorganisation of the zones within their territory completed will not take place until April 1, 2022, Environment Minister Jan Budaj (OLaNO) and Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Samuel Vlcan (an OLaNO nominee) reported on Monday prior to the signing of a memorandum on mutual relations.
The reform of national parks was originally supposed to begin in January of next year.
By April 1 next year, state land in the Slovak Paradise and Pieniny National Parks should be transferred to State Nature Protection (SOP). In other national parks, the transfers should only cover areas with the strictest fourth and fifth levels of protection. Meanwhile, the reorganization of zones within the remaining seven national parks will begin. “I believe that the reorganization of the zones will be finished by the end of next year, when this process should be completed, and as far as state property in national parks is concerned, it should be transferred to SOP, or the Environment Ministry,” said Budaj.

The minister is convinced that the memorandum will also help to ensure that the reform of national parks will be approved. “I believe that we’ve covered all the objections that Parliamentary Chair Boris Kollar (We Are Family) had and [responses to them] are also incorporated in the memorandum,” stated Budaj.

The two ministries also agreed in the memorandum on a half-kilometre zone between non-intervention areas and commercial forests. “I’m pleased that we’ve agreed on this. By June 30, 2022, the Environment Ministry should submit to us a proposal for reorganizing the zones of other national parks. We must reach society-wide agreement on what area of ​​territory we want and can afford to national parks. I believe that we’ll reach a fair agreement,” said Vlcan.

The reform proposal as well as an amendment to the law on national parks should be voted on at the current parliamentary session.
