Branch 853 will hold the annual meeting, with the Election of Officers on November 10, 2024 at 11:00am, at Armandos Pizza, 538 Fallowfield Ave, in Charleroi, PA. Events for 2025 year will be planned. If you want to attend virtually via Skype, Facetime, etc., please email FCSUBranch853@gmail.com or call 412.341.1577 for instructions.

At the annual meeting, the branch is also participating in the Fraternalism in Action program with the Washington Area Humane Society as the recipient. Anyone attending the meeting, please bring a donation to the animal shelter. Unopened pet food, blankets, towels, cleaning supplies are some of the requested items by the shelter. • December 8 – Branch Xmas cookie baking meeting. Come and share the Christmas spirit and bake cookies. Then take some home with you.

For all events a reservation is required so we know to look for you and so that the entrance fee can be paid by Branch 853 for its members.

Branch 853 members who are paying for an education program are eligible for the yearly Branch Educational Stipend. If you are interested in receiving an application, please email FCSUBRANCH853@gmail.com. All information needs to be provided by the applicant and be submitted by mail – no email applications will be accepted; incomplete forms will not be returned and will not be processed. Stipend will not be greater than the cost of the course. Branch 853 encourages all types of educational enrichment.
