SS. Cyril & Methodius Society, Branch 382 K of Scranton, Pennsylvania, will hold its Summer Picnic on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from Noon to dusk. Branch members and guests will gather at the Pavilion on the grounds of the Holy Family Social and Welfare Club, 480 Jubilee Road, Covington Township, Pennsylvania.

Planning committee members are Laura Christianson, Becky Czankner, Michael Czankner, and Michael J. Slovenkai, Sr.

All Branch 382 K members and guests are cordially invited to join them for an afternoon of good food and friendly socializing in the beautiful outdoors of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

A catered lunch will be served. Members and guests will enjoy beverages and snacks throughout the afternoon. A late-afternoon cook-out and corn roast will end the day.

To make reservations for the Summer Picnic and to obtain directions to the Holy Family Social and Welfare Club grounds, contact Elizabeth M. Slovenkai, Branch President, at 570.344.3854. Messages can be left on Voice Mail. The deadline to make reservations is Saturday, August 17, 2024.

The cost of the event for Branch members is $10 per person. The price for a guest is $15 per person.

Your check guarantees your reservation and should be received by Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
