Anthony Angotti, grandson of FCSU Executive Secretary Kenneth Arendt and Branch 228 Member, won the Nevada State Title with his club soccer team (the Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club). Anthony is a freshman at Liberty High School in Henderson, Nevada and aspires to play at the collegiate level while studying mechanical engineering.  As stated in a March 14, 2021 posting on the Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club website (https://downtownlvsc.com/)

Every member of the team contributed to the success of the team as the attack from the Downtown side was relentless and the defense came up big when it needed to.  The team will now prepare to join the DLVSC 2001/2002 team in the National Championship Series Region IV in June.  That event is set to take place in Boise ID.
