Below are the events happening at the Slovak J Club – 485 Morgan Ave. – Akron, OH which are open to the public and all members of Branch 553:

Branch 553 is participating in the District 10 fraternal event of attending a Cleveland Monsters Hockey game on Saturday April 5, 2025 at 7:00pm at Rocket Mortgage Field House in downtown Cleveland. A non-branch member ticket is $27.00. A Branch 553 member ticket is $7.00. Reservations are required and available by calling Linda Hanko at 330-706-0151. The deadline to order tickets is February 28th. Order now and join other FCSU District 10 members in this family-friendly event of fun and fraternalism.

All members are invited to our lodge meeting on April 6, 2025 at 1:00pm at 485 Morgan Ave., Akron, OH. Following our meeting, there will be a District 10 meeting at 2:00pm. Branch 553 will be hosting the district meeting.

FRATERNALISM IN ACTION: Please bring any of the following items to support our local charity, The Christ Child Society of Akron. Please be generous in your donation of disposable diapers, onesies, socks or booties, newborn hats, blankets, baby wipes, washcloths, baby lotion, etc. The FCSU Home Office will graciously donate $250.00 to The Christ Child Society of Akron on our behalf. We look forward to seeing you at all of our Slovak J Club events.
