March 15, 2025 – Come join us for Social Saturday as we support four local businesses. Our first stop is Sips n Such Social House anytime between 10:00am – 1:00pm, where Branch 855 members will receive a $20.00 gift certificate for a home-cooked meal and beverage. After brunch, members will receive three additional gift cards for $10.00 each to spend in the plaza at Jaworski Meats, Cleveland Popcorn Company and Twisted Sweets Chocolates. Guests are welcome to join us at their own cost. This fun social gathering will take place at the Briarcliff Plaza Shopping Center. The address for Sips n Such is 7535 Pearl Rd. in Middleburg Hts., OH. We look forward to seeing you there!

April 5, 2025 – Branch 855 is participating in the District 10 fraternal event and attending a Cleveland Monsters Hockey game on Saturday April 5th at 7:00pm at Rocket Mortgage Field House in downtown Cleveland. Branch 855 members who wish to participate will receive a free ticket. (Ticket must paid for in advance and a full refund will be given at the game. Ticket is non-transferable and can only be used by the member). Additional tickets for non-members may be purchased for $27.00. April 6, 2025 – Join District 10 members at the Slovak J Club at 485 Morgan Ave. in Akron, OH for the District 10 meeting at 2:00pm. Lunch will be served after the meeting. Please RSVP to Ohiodistrict10@yahoo.com by March 25th. FRATERNALISM IN ACTION – We are collecting items for a “Baby Drive” at this meeting. The donations will be donated to The Christ Child Society of Akron. Please bring disposable diapers, onesies, socks, booties, blankets, baby wipes…anything baby related.

April 26-27, 2025 – Come join other FCSU members in Kent, OH for the FCSU International Bowling Tournament. Branch 855 members will receive their bowling fees paid for by the branch. Let’s get together and form some teams. This is a fun fraternal spring event. See the Jednota newspaper and website for more details.

April 27, 2025 – The Tamburitzans Folk Ensemble will perform at Independence High School, 6001 Archwood Rd, Independence, OH on Sunday, April 27th at 3:00pm. All Branch 855 members who wish to see these highly talented college students perform musical numbers from different countries will receive a FREE ticket if PURCHASED THROUGH THE BRANCH. We have special group ticket pricing. If purchased at the box office we will not reimburse your ticket cost. Tickets range from $16.00 Student, $28.00 Senior and $32.00 Adult. Guests of Branch 855 members may also purchase tickets at the group rate through the Branch. Members and guests must pay for their tickets in advance. There will be no refunds for no-shows.
