This year was to be the 10th year of the popular Fujara and Koncovka course I lead at the musical summer camp the Common Ground on the Hill in Maryland.
But due to the extraordinary circumstances we all face, the 2020 class will be available online, using the Zoom app which is available for download free of charge on your device of choice (desktop, laptop, tablet , or smart phone) .
This is opens up a unique opportunity for those of you who were interested in playing fujara but in the past postponed registering because of distance, work, vacation plans, or the overall expenses of travel, room & board.
Covid 19 changed all that, and THIS YEAR ONLY you can take the course from safety of your home, the comfort of your favorite chair, and on top of all the other savings, enjoying a reduced tuition courtesy of the music summer camp organizers Common Ground on the Hill.
Class Day & Time
The fujara / koncovka class will run from Monday 7-13 to Friday 7-17, from 1 pm to 2:30 pm Eastern time. No previous musical experience or knowledge is necessary. Students start playing their instruments on the first day of class.
Do you like to sing? You might be interested in another class with me, on the same days, 3 hours later, starting at 4 pm Eastern time.
To have enough time for individual attention to everybody, I’d like to cap number of students at 10 max, so please don’t delay in registering, as the course might fill in quickly. Once you are registered, I will email you my class material before start of the course.
Of course, please let me know, if you have more questions or concerns.
I look forward to hearing from you, and playing or singing music together.
