An online Beginning Slovak Language course sponsored by the Czechoslovak Genealogical Society Int’l (CGSI) is being offered January 16 to March 26 (Thursday evenings) from 7:30pm to 9:30 pm (EST). In this 10-week 20-hour course, participants will learn basic Slovak vocabulary and phrases and be introduced to Slovak grammar. The course is designed to be interesting and informative – and also includes various aspects of Slovakia’s rich culture and traditions. A PDF Course Book and audio files are provided. The instructor is Dennis Ragan, who has been teaching basic Slovak language and ‘real’ halusky culinary classes for 17 year.

The cost is $195 ($180 for members of CGSI).
