Začína národné testovanie na koronavírus

Celoplošné testovanie slovenskej populácie na koronavírusy sa uskutoční podľa predsedu vlády Igora Matoviča 31. októbra a 1. novembra, o termínoch rozhodol tím centrálneho krízového riadenia.

„Som veľmi rád, že plošné testovanie [v štyroch najviac postihnutých oblastiach uplynulého víkendu] potvrdilo svoj zmysel a dáva nám nádej, že operácia počas nadchádzajúceho víkendu nám pomôže identifikovať desaťtisíce infekčných ľudí.  Požiadame ich a ich rodiny, aby zostali nasledujúcich desať dní v izolácii, aby nenakazili ostatných, “uviedol Matovič.

Minister zdravotníctva Marek Krajci uviedol, že verí, že testovanie zachytí väčšinu infikovaných, a pomôže tak zvrátiť šírenie koronavírusov na Slovensku.

Podľa ministra obrany Jaroslava Naďa , tím centrálneho krízového riadenia potom rozhodne, či dôjde aj k druhému kolu celonárodných testov.

National Testing for Coronavirus Begins

Across-the-board testing of Slovakia’s population for coronavirus will begin October 31 and November 1, dates decided upon by the Central Crisis Management Team, according to Prime Minister Igor Matovic.

“I’m very happy that the pilot testing [in the four hardest-hit districts this past weekend] confirmed its sense and it makes us hopeful that the operation during the upcoming weekend will help us to identify tens of thousands of infectious people. We’ll ask them and their families to stay in isolation for the following ten days, so that they don’t infect others,” said Matovic.
Health Minister Marek Krajci said that he believes that the testing will catch most of the infected and it will thus help to reverse the coronavirus spread in Slovakia.

According to Defense Minister Jaroslav Nad , the Central Crisis Management Team will then decide whether there will also be a second round of national testing.
