For the past 30 years we have been immersing our travelers in the rich Slovak folk culture and reuniting long lost families. We are proud of our 98% success rate in finding living family there.

In honor of this summer’s Centennial Celebration we have added a day to the trip to include grand Orava castle, a village visit to a rare private local museum where we will feast on pampusky, incredible doughnuts; plus the charming mountain village of Vlkolinec.

All this in addition to our regular itinerary of Detva Folk Festival, Kežmarok International Crafts Festival, rafting on the Dunajec in glorious Pieniny Gorge, village parties that spotlight wedding customs (12) , a Goral Picnic, walled medieval towns of Bardejov and Levoča; picturesque Košice, Banska Bystrica, Prešov and Bratislava; the painted homes in Čičmany and nearby the Rajec Bethlehem, learning about village life in an outdoor museum of century old homes; experiencing the royal life in Spiš and Stara Lubovna Castles.

The Treasures of Slovakia 2019 trip dates are July 6 – 16, 2019; the cost is $2,299 per person with a $599 single supplement. Once a deposit is received we go to work to find living family.
